CH without a club

Get it fkn done GW you incompetent cunt.

Blatantly needed. Get in now whilst getting is good. Plenty out there.

Huns will be doing it soon because they realise they need to.

How JG doesn’t see this is just baffling. Or maybe he’s too proud to do it & show how much he fkd up in first place by letting window shut with such pathetic ‘cover’ in central defence

That’s what happened to McLeish and McKenna.

Turned out ok.

There won't be a better game than Killie at home. Only scored 3 goals all season and i think only one from open play. If there was ever a game to get him minutes it's that one. If he puts McCrorie back to CH then we'd have been aswell loaning him out to get him game time.

Agreed. Get the young lad in. McRorie is much better in midfield than at CB, so why weaken 2 positions.

I would like to see Milne play, and if not then try McKenzie at LCB. McRorie at CB should be a last resort

Could imagine Lafferty bullying McCrorie all match, not sure if Milne has much more about him?

Just had a look at the current free agent centre backs. Most are millionaires many times over....Denayer, Zagadou, Hector and doubtful they'd even return our phone call never mind join up, even for just 3 months to see us through till the next window opens.

Sean Morrison might have been a viable option but he got injured in February, released by Cardiff in summer and as far as I can see is still rehabbing from that injury. So that's him out.

Ryan Bennett asked to be released from his Swansea contract at the start of the month. Probably the most realistic of the players available that are of the requisite quality. But even he might think that he's better off just waiting for an offer nearer home than moving 500 miles north for a short term contract on a wage he could equal at an EFL1 club.

Since the window slammed shut, have any of the press asked Goodwin if he’s still actively looking at the free agent market?

And in that regard, I don’t think he’s been questioned on why the squad is so imbalanced either, and if he has any concerns regarding cover in the central defence area.

Or why neither Milne or McKenzie have been given a chance to shine in that particular area.

The quality of journalism in this country precludes any type of serious questioning of management.

I’m pretty sure Goodwin said there isn’t anyone he’s interested in.

You never know if you don’t ask.

They could use us as a temp club to get fit/games to get on other clubs radars in Jan.

We could offer to take Harry Maguire on a short term loan to get him playing football and boost his confidence - the SPL would suit him at present.

We couldn't as it's outwith the transfer window.

Anyway serves Man U right that they're lumbered with the cunt. £80m they paid for a cunt that I'd have McKenna ahead of in any side every day of the week.

I wasn't exactly being serious.......

But yes, McKenna back would be ideal, however unlikely.
