Aye, our last family holiday before lockdown was to Turkey, Jet2 fly there from loads of airports in the UK.

Dalaman, got its own airport so most resorts are only 45 mins away as opposed to 2 hours for other more popular resorts and other airports.

Area itself is not as developed as others and I liked that. Not as busy but the same load of shops selling fakes etc. in the town itself with a decent amount of restaurants.

We are talking about going back we enjoyed it so much.

Paris is ace. Far superior to London, no idea why they are compared. 
 

Truly can't understand the people who've told me "it's not the same as it once was" etc. it's still beautiful, great food, sights, drink. 
 

Bit pricey right enough but if folk can afford it and fancy a city break I'd recommend here over any other big city I've been to. Loved it. Only been bothered twice by the scam artists and a simple no seems to get them away. 

 

Fly back today, so enjoying a few white beers pre flight.
