That’s where I am on it. He was appointed way beyond his competence level and made a total arse of it and us.

I don’t hate him, I hate what he did to us - his lack of ability to put out a side that could deliver a performance but deep down I hate those who put him in this position.

For the board to “back” the manager and then put him in a position where he needs to win or he’s gone is shameful. Either back him or sack him but don’t humiliate him more than he already is.

His public walk across the pitch was pathetic. Cormack says Goodwin is a good man. I take issue with that. He binned a number of players the minute he arrived yet expected them to remain motivated until the end of the season. He kept no continuity in his coaching staff when he arrived. Robson was given the youths to work with and has made a success of that in spite of Goodwin. Players like Vinny have been cast aside- again not a player Goodwin bought. His treatment of Andy Considine was unforgivable. Says it all when Considine chose to move to St Johnstone rather than stay in a playing / coaching role at the club he had been at his entire life. Not a great deal Goodwin can add to his CV for possible future employers.
