Anyone know what the script is with this guy? Has he even played yet? Seems a bizarre signing.

yeah seems a bit strange , personally i'd like to see Robson make more subs and let players have more of a chance Myslovic too as we have a buy clause, however its hard to argue with Robson at the moment and we haven't been in the position to try out players, so i guess Markanday hasn't done enough in training...

3-5-2 doesn’t help wingers. 

He also has a few players ahead of him.

I think we may have brought him in because we thought Watkins might be leaving in January and due to Roberts being injured and Morris being shite. 

However, the team has been on a good run and he's obviously not impressed enough in training so far to force Robson to give him game time.

We aren't playing a 3-5-2 though. And you could say Hayes or Duncan are probably a similar type of player to Markanday.

Not sure about doing enough in training. Robson been very complementary about Myslovic in training yet seen very little minutes. Seems really reluctant to change things and relys on the same 13/14 players week in week out. Cant argue with it much as we are flying but I would like to see us use subs a little more. Ideally we go into last 2/3 games with third tied up so we can have a look at a few lads but a tough ask.

Exactly - unless the guy is an out of this world talent (in which case he would waltz into the starting 11), what's the point giving him game time ahead of our own young players like Duncan or Bavidge.

The more unusual one is Myslovic as he was signed on loan with an option to buy, yet hardly seems to feature. Don't imagine we'll be taking up the option given his lack of game time.

I said the signing of Dilan Markanday was an utter nonsense the night we signed him.I added that we had lost all pride and some folk said I was racist.A ridiculous midnight signing in the last moments of the transfer window when Aberdeen football club was at a very, very low ebb.Happily we are now doing well. Barry Robson likes a settled team and Markanday no chance of a game.

He was a decent player but absolutely nowhere near as good as he thought he was himself. 2 caps for Scotland, absolutely none after leaving us. Wouldn’t have been good enough to play or us once McGinn and Hayes were signed a year after he left.
