If we change manager we have stuff to play for! If the board don’t act we have nothing really to play for! We could easily fall to BR under Robson and are mired in bottom 6!

Ok, it's a turn of phrase "there's nothing left to play for". Obviously we've got a game to play for three points against Celtic next up but it doesn't mean there's the slightest chance of taking them, or off the huns after that, or anyone else barring Ross county or Livingston for that matter. Or winning a fucking Scottish cup for christ's sake. 

Based on what we have at present, it is my opinion that you would have to blindly optimistic (to put it mildly) to suggest that this side, with this manager, have realistically anything left to play for.

Being pedantic around the semantics of it might bring you some comfort but not to me.
