For me it started last season. Losing 17 games and finishing 3rd gave a false sense of security. Whilst celebrating resigning the loans. These loans still contributed to a season mixed with some of the worst results in our history. That wee purple patch saw us get an unlikely, but nevertheless fantastic 3rd. The problem was when qualifying for Europe, we concentrated on quantity rather than quality to help us cope on several fronts. The appointment of Robson, I can understand due to the wee purple patch, but lessons should have been learned from the app't of an inexperienced manager.

 

I ask, have we too many managers trying to justify their positions. Only Dave can look deeply into this.
