Couldn’t agree more, just watched it, seems really likeable, loves football, seems very focused, talks well, seems a nice bloke, plus for me, the keeper I wanted as he was superb last season at St Johnstone. Great addition.

Pleased that we didn't waste 500K on a untried Hun reserve keeper with hardly any first team experience even if the Weegie press where pushing for us to buy him

Just watched his interview. Seems a good, honest, likeable person. Certainly got more about him compared to our departed keeper. I wish him well.

Did I not say we should have a young player able to ‘cover’ but you are making extreme example of 6 months 🤦‍♂️ we cannot afford the luxury of two players for every single position ‘as their main position’  we are a club that has numerous players that can ‘fill a role’ if needed & am damn sure we could cover a Devlin injury with better than fkn Richardson with pretty much any right sided/footed mid or winger or even fkn CH in event we haven’t got a semi capable young player able to ‘step in’

 

Also. A six month injury (as you used for massive dramatic effect) would only affect playing side for a few months in reality (if absolutely zero cover) as January window would come before Devlin returns.

 

Anyway. RB is pretty much our very lowest priority right now. That was my point. In short 🤣

St Johnstone fans think he could have got a bigger club than us. However, they did say his strengths are shot stopping but his kicking and ball distribution is very poor.

Short distribution can probably be easily taught in next few weeks.

Longer accurate kicks maybe less so

Anyway, glad to see the back of him tbh, he just did not instill confidence in me at all. The game against sevco when he saved a shot and it was easier to push it wide, but instead he pushed it straight into the path of a sevconian for them to score an easy tap in.

Instead 2 years of mediocrity between the sticks. Amazing really the cult following this guy garnered when he first arrived with shouts of 'Rooooos' (guilty myself on occasion). But we were well warned by fans of his previous clubs and they weren't wrong. We could've done better, but that could be said across the board over the last few years I suppose.

Delighted with the signing of Mitov. Always looked impressive whenever i've seen him play and it's clear he was thought very highly of by St Johnstone and their fans. Definite upgrade on Roos.

He talked about how he admired his professionalism and by that understood why he lasted so long in the game.

Kicking and distribution are poor? Ok let me throw the ball out to defenders every time.  If he can stop shots and catch the fkn ball then he's a win.

I genuinely don't know much about him but he came off absolutely great in that RedTV interview.

wingers & central mids yes. Plus striker (if Duk/Miovski go as expected) are main requirements.

RB would definitely be last thing on list & we must have a young player coming in that can play there as back up at least? 
 

I would argue that even another CH is above need for another RB actually as still not convinced we have the complete package/combo there yet

He’s not terrible imo, solid player.

Full backs not a priority right now I feel but if a good one becomes available- for either side of the pitch- we could do with competition there.

For me, we really need to get the wings sorted out in this window- two wingers/wide forwards with pace absolutely the bare minimum, three would be better.

Boy at my work is a st Johnstone season ticket holder and said mitov was miles ahead of anyone else they have/had.

Said his distribution isn't overly bad but at times had to come oit and clear the ball as they were so slow at the back. 

These are the sort of signings we used to make when we were decent. You almost thought we wouldn't be able to get them but we did. Hopefully Thelin is as good at selling us as del was as whatever folk think of mcinnes he could sell the club to players!

It's interesting though that Mitov had a great season, got into the Bulgarian squad etc, but a year earlier he was released by the mighty Cambridge Utd. 

I'm just relieved that Roos is away, haven't disliked a player as much as I ended up disliking him, for years. Total liability. Mitov seems to be solid, consistent, safe pair of hands. St Johnstone fans were tipping him to be a future captain, so seems to be a leader, vocal and an organiser - exact opposite to Roos.

A good strong leader in the sticks to bark orders at the defence is what weve been lacking for years.
