Full backs not a priority right now I feel but if a good one becomes available- for either side of the pitch- we could do with competition there. For me, we really need to get the wings sorted out in this window- two wingers/wide forwards with pace absolutely the bare minimum, three would be better. Dimi wants to play as long as possible (Zoff) so he took note. (And yes, a players' last season in the twilight of their career won't be their best.) I'm pullin yer leg, I watched the interview and he did sing Andy's praises in that regard. As shit as i have thought Considine was over the years, he has infact carved out a decent career at this level for the ability he had. Fair play to the boy Back to Mitov, Don't know much about him in all honesty, but i'm glad we've went for him instead of Mcrorie and keeping that useless cunt Roos 3 Link to comment

ullevi
Mitov is a better keeper than Roos, I still have reservations over his distribution and coming for cross balls and those were the 2 things we gave Roos stick for... like I say a better keeper but remains to be seen how he deals with cross balls. Mitov pretty much single-handedly kept the Fermers in the league last season, and pretty much every time I saw him (not that much I'll admit), he impressed. He's 27, a great age for a keeper. His career is on an upward curve, he's an internatonalist and he has experience of our league so no integration issues. It's a good signing, and I'm pleased to see that the concept of cherry-picking the best from the diddy teams....something we did a lot of with great success in the 70's and 80's....seems to have reared its head again. 2 Link to comment

Lieutenant Dan is a better keeper than Roos. He got stick for a lot more than that. Hopeless in every aspect. Would love to see him end up at Hibs Link to comment

GUNNER : So Craig, we have no first choice keeper at the moment, if you got the role who would you recommend to bring in CH : I'd go for Mitov as he has a £175k release clause and he's on less than I'm asking for. GUNNER : Ok, haud on, I'm just writing that down 1 2 Link to comment

20two20
Just like Aberdeen fans to ignore the positive of having signed the goalkeeping coach from one of the best goalkeepers in the league, whilst also signing that goalkeeper, just to find the negative of him working with a complete basket case of Dundee United team. Peter Schmeichel couldn't have gotten a tune out of Birighitti, calm down. 1 Link to comment

Broken_Glass
Didn't take this positivity to turn into a pampers required moment for some. I actually have no idea how good or bad Mitov is however I know a "fermer" who really rates him and I also had a conversation with a bigot who stated and I quote him that he was "outstanding" in a couple of games against them last season. That's good enough for me. Coaching is a funny one, some people respond better to different people and methods and like golf the best players don't always make the best coaches. If it is Hinchcliffe then I'm sure due diligence has been done and it keeps continuity. Chill out FFS. 1 Link to comment

Hinchcliffe and Mitov have a track record of working well together, so I'm not sure why people are desperate to find a negative here. Apart from the fact that Aberdeen fans are by and large depressing as fuck. 1 Link to comment

Latest stats suggest Mitov is one of the best keepers in our league and now we've got the coach that enabled that. I don't see how that's a bad thing. 1 Link to comment
