Highlights of the god forsaken semi final from 2008 have appeared on Facebook. Just watched them for some reason. 
 

the game is synonymous with McNamara performance but my god he wasn’t the worst. Derek Souttar and Zander Diamond look like the have been bribed or something. Look unbelievably bad. Shameful afternoon. 
 

Looking back, one thing you can’t say about that 07/08 season was that it was boring. Still in the UEFA cup through to February. 2 cup semi runs that ended in disastrous semi final capitulations. A terrible league run followed by a late rally where we should have finished 3rd but for no goal line technology at fir park near the end of the season. 
 

we took £1 million for Russell Anderson the previous summer. You wonder how much better we could have done and how much more money we’d have made if we kept him one more season and let him go for nothing at the end. Will never Ken! Ken

It'll be a strong starting XI which any one of those two players are given the nod to start.

Personally, I would play them both from the off and sacrifice Graeme Shinnie from WW's starting lineup of choice. 

If Besuijen has indeed finally dropped his Droopy Basset-esque petted lip and wishes to truly work his arse off for AFC, then, fair enough, give him a start as this is the type of opposition he should enjoy playing against.

We really need one attacking fullback in this summer as an option.

It would be nice to do something on Saturday that we haven't done for a few years, which is look like an actual team from the get-go. 

Last year against Livi we looked like a bunch of pished fuckwits that had never met each other before. 

No excuses this year, we have pretty much the same team that finished last season, with the addition of a few/couple of new players. We should be right into it on Saturday.

Looks like about 1300 sold for Dumfries on Saturday. Not bad for a 450 mile round trip.
