Assuming he starts, where does he go? Does this push Shinnie further forward or does Ante take that role (with McGrath and Morris wide) while Shinnie and Nilsen continue as the defensive mids?

He looks very much like a classic number six (four for us due to God.)

He plays with the game in front of him, will take the ball from defenders or keeper and gets his head up.

One area he looks to be superb at is when the team has won possession,  he is immediately looking for an attacker making a run and he finds them with a pass. Players like Shady Mo, Bojan, Sokler or Gueye would benefit from him getting behind a defence.

You are looking at one of Shinnie or Nilsen dropping out to make room in the team.

Would make sense to have Shinnie & Nilsen being interchangeable.  Save them both being absolutely knackered by the 70th minute and will cover the inevitable bookings/bans they will undoubtedly get.
