You could see  Clarkson dropping out vs Old Firm and using Palversa as the deepest of three midfielders with Shinnie and Nilsen pressing more.

Looks like a very interesting signing, he likes a long pass that seems accurate. If he adds goals he will be some player.

What's the reasoning behind the 1 year with 2 further option? Surely if we have paid a fee for him we want him for 3 years regardless? 

Also if he turns out to be absolutely dynamite what happens next summer when somebody wants to sign him for a big fee do we still get that?

Genuine questions, not too sure how these deals with 'an option' work, help me out somebody.

It’s our option so pretty simple. If he’s good we trigger the extension, if he isn’t and can’t stay fit, ciao.

If we can get a couple of good wingers in then we are looking ok. Losing Miovski when he goes is the biggest issue we have hopefully Sokler & Ambrose can step up.

Well, there have been murmurs about Dave looking for a new buyer, and perhaps his recent health scare has allowed him to take stock.   I hope we keep Dave as I genuinely feel he has the best interest of Aberdeen at heart, and we can see the developments across the whole club to give the foundations for future growth but perhaps a future link / sale to the city group could be a possibility.    Like it or not many teams are in / will be in such groups and if you’re not in then there is a risk of being left behind.
