Weve got the cash to offer over £1m in January if we wanted to.

On other side of the coin weve picked up Nilsen and Palaversa for much, much smaller fees.

I think on balance we are well covered in central midfield and need to focus on keeping our five lads happy.

He will go for nearer 4-5m, and wouldn't be surprised if he went for more as he seems to be a favourite of the pundits.

The summer was already too late.

You think? I think 1.5-2m would of sealed the deal, kept him a couple of season and at least double in return.

We're not going to spend £2m for a player though.

And if a player in Scotland is already worth £2m he'll have interest in and from richer clubs than us.

Even if he was available for £2m, we’d never pay that.

It'll be in England, or Celtic that he’ll end up at next summer.

I think we missed a trick by not trying to sign Lennon Miller in the summer. He'd going to earn Motherwell a good few Million

We couldn't have afforded him. He'll go for upwards of £1.5m (I actually think they'll probably get £2m for him) in January. If sevco have any sense they'll make a bid but hopefully they miss out and he heads off down south

Be shocked if they only get 2m. Could be in next Scotland squad if players like Barron are in contention. Looks a real prospect.

I hope the lad goes to Europe and stays away from England, better chance of improving his game.

Yep, that's how clubs decide what to bid for players

His dad seems like he has his screwed on so hopefully he'd be advising his son to realise his potential and stay the fuck away from Glasgow. Boy could be Scotland's McTominay replacement long term.

See ex Man U player Brandon Williams is still available on a free maybe we should offer him a short term deal like we did for palversa

Man Utd released him as he wasn’t taking his career seriously and making poor decisions off the field. He’s also awaiting trial for dangerous driving and driving without valid insurance after crashing his car whilst inhaling laughing gas.

Rumoured to have been on 65k per week so he ain’t short of money

Great idea, that’s exactly the type of character thelin is looking to bring in, a man child that’s still sooking laughing gas and smashing expensive cars as an adult instead of concentrating on his job, marvellous, a pity Marseille pipped us for mason eh pal?. Shame.

Sake.

I wasn’t the one saying we should sign him

If McGrath still hasn’t signed a new deal by January (even though we still have a few other options in midfield) we really should be trying to get Cameron from Dundee. Although most clubs were probably distracted by McCowan all last window I think most will now have realised he’s as good if not better.
Hopefully all the interest is in Miller at Well & we can nip in & steal Cameron at Dundee. Would be happy enough with us trying up to a mil for him if need be.

His contract is up in the summer so the chances of Aberdeen getting him will be slim as there will be a lot of clubs looking at him but I agree he’d be a great replacement for McGrath
