Crying out for a strong leader at the back

A Left Back

A Winger

A Striker

If we get a CB and nothing else in jan its a step in the right direction, heard we are looking at a Central Mid and pretty far down the line aswell, but looking from the outside I cant see why.

central attacking midfielder would be very welcome but a genuine central midfielder not required until others move out

Don't think a winger should be a priority tbh.  Centre half and striker definitely, replacement left back if we're being greedy.

No it’s not seen as we will be losing McGrath, Mackenzie, Duk and Angus, on top of already wanting to make the squad stronger now. That would leave us far too much work come the summer.

edit to add, probably be in Europe as well so will lose out on trained in Scotland (mcgraph) and youth club players (Mackenzie) on top of what we need as well.

Centre half was priority before these last few games so yes 100%.

Left back is probably a good idea if 1) we know Mackenzie is likely to leave and 2) McGarry's playing minutes is an exact indication of how much the management team rate him.

Striker I'm not so convinced by until 1 or 2 leave. We have enough to work with between Gueye, Nisbet, Sokler, Duk and Ambrose in the meantime.

Yep, we have plenty of players in the forward and midfield areas which when subbed isn’t a massive drop off in quality, our defence and sub keeper are rank, a massive drop off in quality from our starting defenders, which aren’t good enough as it is to last a full season.

wouldn’t be bothered at all in not getting an attacking player in the door, right good defenders across the board please.

Lyall Cameron available on a pre contract in 4 weeks.

Gotta expect The Rangers, Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibs plus English outfits already waiting. Possibly even Euro outfits given Johnston, Hickey, Doig, Ferguson moves.

Huns rumoured to have already tapped him up.

Sign a pre contract in January to sign for free out of contract in tne summer.

To join in January would be a fee yeah and yeah likely half a million.

Training compensation

I suspect he'll be a similar fee to Barron so lets see what that is. If its £750k or so then suddenly its not a no brainer for anyone to sign him

If that's the case yeah we're out. Unless Bloom changes things massively. But with Jamestown Analytics trying to show off can't see us moving for a player in our league we've known about for years. More likely we'll go for unknown players to us.
