Lovely stuff

Would be a cracking Saturday 3pm away day but wonder if they’ll shove us to Monday night

5 ties are live.

Premier Sports get 1st, 2nd & 5th pick.
BBC 3 & 4

Premier will take:
Cel v Kil.
Huns v Broch.

BBC will take.
Dundee derby.
Elgin v Dons.

Premier
Brechin v Hearts maybe?

Reckon we’ll be Monday, or Sat @ 12.30?

Shite, another away match most fans won't be able to get tickets for.

Capacity is about 4,000 I think and Elgin average attendance is 700 (there was 1,800 at the Hibs match earlier this year). Given there is every chance we will be one of the five TV picks I would have thought that most people that want tickets will get

St. Johnstone v Motherwell, being the third all Premiership tie, has potential to be on that list (5th?)

I don’t think they’d pick up that game.

The two Glasgow clubs are stick on Premier Sports picks 1&2.

BBC will definitely go with Dundee Derby & a game with “shock potential”
Elgin top of Div 2 v us you’d think?

Prem Sports might take St J v M, but if they want a cup shocker, Brechin v Hearts would be their pick is my guess. .

BBC from memory have a Friday night & Monday night slot?
We played Clyde away on BBC on a Friday night?

Well thats certainly the first two picks and they will almost certainly take Sat tea time and Sun mid afternoon ko times.

Leaves BBC with third and fourth pick and options of Friday night, Sat lunch, Sun lunch, Sunday night and Monday night.

Suspect they'll be keen to get a game on Friday night first and that cant be us.

If they then were to pick us as 4th pick then id hope its Sat lunch as the least worst choice.

Have a feeling it’ll be Monday night.

the slots are not set in stone - if huns/celtic had to play a certain day because of europe/league premier would change. They just clearly prefer Sat night and Sunday afternoon/night

I can certainly see it being Monday night - bbc have shown tonight they like that slot. So every chance they pick Friday night and Monday night. Will suit Premier down to the ground who would choose Sat tea time and Sunday back to back games

Aye, agree, and as you say we can’t play on Friday night as we’re at the Bastard Garden the Wednesday night before.

Commentators at the East Kilbride v Falkirk match took less than 5 minutes to mention the Darvel debacle, so you're right, broadcasters will be drooling at the mouth for more "giant-killing".

QotS v St. Mirren or Ross County v Livi are more potential prem team exits to lower league teams, but the Aberdeen and Hearts games have bigger potential audiences.

From memory I think you're right with the slots.  BBC will be Friday & Monday.  Premiership Sports probably two on Saturday and one on the Sunday.

the slots are not set in stone but you are right with how it will turn out.

Only thing that is not certain to guess is what two BBC will pick from Dundee derby, Hearts and Dons. I wouldn't be surprised by any 2/3 there.

Then when it comes back to Premier they wouldnt be certain to pick the third as they might look at St Johnstone Motherwell

Prem Sports two favoured slots are Sat night & Sunday afternoon.
So, rule them out, as that’ll be the scum.
We can’t play Fri night -rule that out.

That leaves Sat 12.30 or Mon 7.45 assuming we’re selected.
