Clydeside_Sheep
Im going to see Sleeper at the QMU on Friday. After some 30 years - long years - I will finally be in the same room as Louise Werner (unless the Police intervene first). Link to comment

cheesepipes
Paradise Lost on Sunday. Glasgow Garage. Haven't seen them live since the mid 90s. Their new album grabbed me immediately. It's up there with the holy trinity of Shades of God, Icon and Draconian Times. The godfathers of Gothical Rock n Roll. I'm expecting it to be rammed with Middle Aged White Men. Link to comment
dave_min
Simple Plan + The Offspring. Absolutely fucking buzzing. 1 Link to comment

They still deliver live and I'm hoping to catch them in Ireland next year. Not heard the new album, but I've been reliably informed it's another belter. They've rarely disappointed on record, despite their many detours. Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
JJ Bull (slightly more football knowledge than Erin Greive but equally annoying) playing a gig in Aberdeen (he has some pathetic football tunes on spotify). Podcasters hipsters and cunts only in attendance I presume. He's likely on here tbh. Link to comment

Clydeside_Sheep
Got a free ticket from a mate at short notice to attend Dog Race and The Sprints at SWG3 last night. 2 bands I had never heard of, and no wonder, both were absolute muck. I would have been raging had I paid for that. Mate had described the Sprints as a "punk" band, so I have envisioned something similar to the Sex Pistols, how wrong can you be!? Dog Race had nothing to recommend them whatsoever. To be fair to The Sprints, their energy was good, as was their crowd interaction and their fans were "going mental" moshing and crowd surfing. However, their music was shite and I didnt like their sensibilities "protect trans youth and free palestine" 🤮🤮 The crowd was odd - a mix of people noticeably older than me and then a lot of weird looking young folk (either that or they were Australian). So thats another evening I will never get back, but at least the Dandies got a point! (watched the game before going in). PS - SWG3 have introduced a shite policy that you can only buy however many drinks as you have people at the bar with you. What a lot of shit that is. So everyone has to go to the bar at once. Maybe it was just for Sprints fans? 1 Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
ive been trying to get a ticket for (sold out) Black Grape at the QMU. I joined that twickets site and a few have come up, but I always see the email too late and miss out - will need to check if you can get a text alert too. Would have loved to have seen them.
