The sense Aberdeen are mouthy. Gloating at us. Ahead of themselves. All leading to a desire to smash the legs from under you and your so called league title push. So a bit wounded animal with this one. Whether that transfers to our players. Don't know. On the other side could do without the euro journey this week. Hearts fans are absolute losers. Real small time mentality, as you outlined above. Pathetic club. 1 5 Link to comment

Suspect you're not the typical Hearts supporter at Tynecastle these days though. You know the sort that dominates your support. It's a shame what's happened to the atmosphere there to be honest. 1 Link to comment

It appears a lot of Hearts fans have moved from the high rise flats to the detached 4 bed houses. Got a bit up themselves and expect to be above all the peasants in the semi detached and terraced houses. Best way I can describe the change after multi millionaire handouts, FOH, the hotel and of course the waiting list. Link to comment

They have won 3 trophies since 1960, 2 of them financially doped when they cheated like their big cousins. They have been relegated 5 times in that period. They've also finished above us 2 years in 14 (away to be 2 in 15). All the pish they might want to try and spin can't beat the above facts. They are a complete and utter irrelevance. Always have been and always will be. 4 5 Link to comment

I don’t get this school of thought at all. 0.1% of our fanbase probably thought that we were in a genuine title race. Media trying to push that narrative as well for more clicks and drumming up attention etc. Currently we are 9 points clear of third heading into December. Not one Dons fan thought that possible from August onwards. Second bottom Hearts telling us we need put in our place…which is where exactly? More than a dozen points ahead of them? The idea that we are delusional idiots from the 80’s doesn’t wash anymore. In fact, I’d argue that baton has been passed onto a faction of the Jambo support. A couple of third place finishes and record season ticket sales and all of a sudden they were a force…in spite of the inconsistencies season to season. Also I see a lot of “They’re just getting the job done like we did under Naisy last year.” As if the quality and skill of our coach to that fucking no mark isn’t night and day 😂. In my opinion, a lot of Jambos have a real problem accepting their fate this season. A lot of talk for a team that would currently be playing a relegation play off. Take a leaf from JT books and remain humble eh… 1 2 Link to comment

Partly driven by all seater stadiums versus terracing. Partly increasing costs. Partly societal changes generally along with increased policing and stewarding. But on top of all that we've had Budge leading us with her own vision. Add it all up and we've moved over my lifetime from a working class fan base. Punks and skinheads prominent when I started going. Council scheme fanbase. And maybe our yoyo years added to this. Almost an angry underperforming club and set of fans. With strong local roots. Including our players. Now? All a bit Morningside for me. A definite move from a 6 pack of Red Stripe, 20 Regal Small and The Sun. To a glass of sherry, a crushed avocado salad, and The Guardian online. But isn't that true of football generally? Am I misty eyed pining for the days of fans pissing openly on the terraces watching a 0 0 with Clydebank? Change from a tenner. Jumpers for goalposts. 6 2 Link to comment

Tynecastle is a tough place for any team to go but if we're at it we can put them in their place, league table doesn't lie we are better than them so let's show it. It's also a tough place for Hearts to go too, hence the reason they are up to their eyeballs in a battle to avoid the drop. 1 1 Link to comment

Turtles
Not feeling good about this one. Last 2 performances have been lackluster. Defence shaky. Our record at Tynecastle etc. I'd start with this. I'll fight anyone who tries to say Morris shouldn't start. Mitov Devlin Ruby Molloy MacKenzie Shinnie Palaversa Duk McGrath Morris Sokler 2-1 Dons. Palaversa & Nisbet Link to comment
TerryMcDermott
Sadly we’re back to the days of ‘which Aberdeen team will turn up’ but if the one we want does….we’ll beat Hearts. They look one dimensional and toothless. We should have Palaversa on from the start and Duk ripping into their wing. Morris on second half. Chaos ensues. Link to comment
Wester Hailes Skins
Can't see Shankland starting Sunday. Straight down the tunnel. Didn't go to 3500 Hearts fans. As our captain. Booed by fans who chanted Shankland Get To F&ck. I'd expect Wilson to start. One of our own. Highly rated. Showed more threat than Shankland and Vargas in a few minutes tonight. Big call for Critchley. But I'd go Wilson and Musa up front and a 4 4 2. Salazar a total mystery as yet. Might come in for Penrice at LB. Link to comment

Shinniesta
Think we'll likely lose on Sunday. Hoping we can sneak it but it's just not a ground we do well at we have a terrible record there just like Hearts when they go to Pittodrie. The fixture has been a virtual home banker for years now and our defending is giving me the fear at the moment. 2-1 Hearts. 1 Link to comment
