Are we any better?

I'm not convinced we are right now.

As I said earlier, once the new signings have settled in I do believe we will improve. However that's 2 or 3 weeks down the line. If....and it's a big if....we can score first I think we'll win. But if Elgin open the scoring......I shudder to imagine what we might then witness

Recall Bavidge and play Fletcher up top. Honestly anything is better than the fatty tomatty we currently use. Fuck it. Play me up front. I will at least run about.

Fletcher is a midfielder up front? So where you playing Bavidge, I know tonight was poor but set your phone down and get some sleep

Well they'll not tackle us in our own box at our own goal kick so that will be a big fucking help right now

I'm not sure. I think they might try and put us under pressure at the back early on to see if they get a bit of success from it.

Then drop back if its not working for them and challenge us to break them down.

They'll be thinking if they can just get a goal no matter how scrappy, a penalty, big deflection, anything......that they've got fuck all to fear from us in an attacking sense to get us back into it.

This couldn't have come at a worse time for us, confidence shot to pieces with new players still finding their feet and getting to know their team mates

I think we must look to the new players to lead the way.  Tobers and Jensen and still Keskinen you feel refresh the side with more energy.

We are vulnerable no doubt, but I think if just a few players play bravely, most likely our newcomers, it is a great chance to regroup as we busily restructure the squad.

They like a set piece and as we've shown quite a bit recently we are awful at defending them.

Dreading this game now.

I never thought we'd lose to darvel. After that anything is possible. Will be there hoping for a blocked view

Here's the difference, though.

The team was low on morale against Darvel, disjointed, struggling to find a system that worked, leaderless on the field, and full of players who couldn't give a shit. We came up against a team on their home turf that was doing well in their league, full of energy, and fancied their chances.

Whereas now...

...ah.

I reckon with the way our season has massively faltered in recent weeks the tv companies will be kicking themselves that they never selected this game as one of their picks. With our 12 game winless run it's got shades of Darvel written all over it.

Aye, fucking mental they’ve picked Falkirk v Raith (I think it is?)
