Nobody suggesting we sign him but he's a possible option worth bearing in mind if Doohan and Ritchie go as unlikely we'll get much better willing to warm the bench and Ferrie, although English, qualifies as association trained as was signed at Dundee from 18 to 21

I asked a simple question. Im guessing the answer is no, with those who have suggested ‘a look’ basing it purely on todays performance.

Ferrie been pretty consistent for a while now played well against us in cup.game seems calm especially at caste greyskull good sign

Seemingly out of contract in the summer. Not sure what he was like at Dundee but he had the game of his life yesterday. It was probably enough to land him a no1 gig at a decent sized club.

As Aldo said he was ok against us, quite a confident keeper.
If he’s part time he might not want to chuck his job and go full time to be a back up keeper. He’s 26yo.

Did we ever find out who Andy Halliday was referring to when he said a friend of his was close to signing for us in January?  There were a couple of names rumoured, like Kai Naismith, but nothing more than rumours.

Just wondering if it was someone we might go back in for during summer.

He's been keeper of the season in the Championship last few seasons apparently.

Not sure Ferrie is an upgrade on Doohan, other than he's played a more first team games albeit at a lower level.

If he's looking for his next career step I would have thought he's looking to be number 1 at a Premiership team.

For a second goalie I'd go with either someone who has a genuine chance of displacing Mitov or an older goalie at the tail end of a decent career who can be relied upon to do a job at this level when required.

Unfortunately not many keepers of his quality willing to be a number 2 and only getting 2 league games in his time here. He simply loved the area/club and has settled here.
