There’s also the question over Nisbet. IF he keeps scoring for the next 2 months, we might look to make it permanent, although maybe not doable financially, when his large wage is taken in to account. There’s Sokler who’s under contract. I’d try & sell. And Ambrose surely will be loaned or sold. Olusanya would be a better option off the bench than Sokler & Ambrose, but I wouldn’t want him as first pick no.9 Wouldn’t be anywhere near a first choice as you boys state, but last 20-30 mins against a tiring defence, is a good option, and better than Ambrose.Fuck, I’d be a better option than Ambrose and I’m an old cunt. 8 goals this season for Olusanya, so more likely to nick a goal or two than Ambrose for sure. We do have a buy option for Dabbagh. Both up in the air at the moment whether we'd want to keep them. Hard to form any opinion without having a vague idea how much they'd cost or likelihood of getting a second loan. With Gueye and Sokler both out of contract in one year I would be trying to get a fee for one of them to remove chance they both leave for free. I can definitely see a scenario where we are looking for 2-3 strikers this summer 2 Link to comment

Helmet
I’m a bit conflicted by the idea of signing Olusanya. Like the idea of picking up good players from our rivals to build the squad depth up but I think he could turn out to be hopeless once in a better team, not playing a long ball / counter attack style and not playing every week as the fulcrum of that attack. Could he actually put in his best performances when not getting 90 mins every week to sharpen up and without the whole game plan set up to leverage his physicality? Link to comment

Categoric that if we sign one striker it aint him as the player needs to fit the profile exactly. if we signing a few strikers, then meh get him in Link to comment

Needs sorted out. Ambrose should be moved on and arguably maybe Sockler too. And Gueye is a wild card, can’t be relied upon too much going forward. Link to comment

A goal every 197 minutes for Lasagne this season, a goal every 232 minutes for Ambrose. Link to comment

I think at times we can all including myself be a bit snobby to players under our noses. There is no way Frankfurt are looking at a 27 year St Mirren forward who averages a goal every 5 games 1 Link to comment

PondHopper
I could see some house cleaning on Strikers. If out of contract Finland international Benjamin Kallman would be a great fit and would be versatile. Popov, Bulgarian international, would be another good fit at rb. Also potentially out of contract. 1 Link to comment
Arthur FN Shelby
Any more North Macedonian strikers going spare? A Miovski mark 2 would be nice. 1 Link to comment

That Norwegian team took Gueye on loan when he was in truly dreadful form, much worse than he is playing now. We might have to take a hit on the transfer fees paid but we will be able to shift them if we want to. Every shit player we've had found a club somewhere after being with us. Link to comment

Our only real chance of getting a decent transfer fee this summer is tied up with Ferguson getting a move from Bologna which tells you everything about our current squad. Link to comment

Long term possibly Miovski as well if he hits some form. But aye the current crop Jensen or Keskinnen will be the next sale for a few million with sell ons. Link to comment
