Dons79
How’s it possible for the one man to have as many selfies in such a short journey so far?, every video, a million selfies, fuck nature, fuck the path your traversing, fuck points of interest, just a mugshot every 2 mins. No wonder he’s not getting very far. oh, and he’s now superman, Batman, sir Alex and Jess. Fucks sake. 1 Link to comment

Funny how the beneficiary AberNecessitie's seem happy getting the cash from donations page and sure it'll do a lot of good with their work but haven't done anything to advertise the challenge other than give him a few t shirts assuming they did and he didn't get then printed himself Link to comment

Have to agree, he fits right in with some of the people I have worked with over the years. They live in pure fantasy land and beleive every word they say when talking about themselves. Can be funny to watch at times, when these sorts of characters regale tales to the tea shack, and while the audience are all clearly laughing at him, they are totally oblivious and think they are laughing along with them. Aye we’ve all met plenty of them for sure. Just pull up a chair and enjoy the complete nonsense. Link to comment
Howard Marks
Just had a quick look at the last two posts. Hinting at not waking up but hoping he does wake up. It's looking like the ramblings of someone who has lost grip on reality. Someone please put an end to this "challenge." If the chap doing the "challenge" is doing this, please stop now before you get to the really difficult bits. Come off social media, go home and focus on yourself. If you must insist on continuing perhaps spend a little less time biting back at your haters on social media and more time enjoying the walk. The daily ramblings are not doing you any favours. Post what you're doing and leave it at that. Link to comment

Mask slips occasionally and he bites back showing a huge part of his character but deletes those too as doesn't fit his fans profile. He needs to hand over the unspent expenses fund to AberNecessitie's and focus on finding somewhere to stay rather than using this to self medicate and avoid reality. Link to comment

Correct, running away from your problems isn’t going to help!, once finished he would still be in the same position as before, just with sore feet. 🦶 1 Link to comment

Shows you the 61 stages and cuts it down into 20 mile daily chunks, fit walkers would complete in 2 month. John of groats to fort William is 180 mile, he started on the 4th of February, he should be at 400 mile. 20 days x20 miles. He should be in Kendal in the Lake District by now. thats how slowly he’s going, at this pace it would be 4 month completion, which is a lot of accommodation and coffees. Link to comment

Agreed but imagine more also pay privately to try Everest than try to get others to pay for their JOGLE. ZT will need Sherpa help for climbs on couple slopes through to Glasgow He soo doesn't count rest days either and would be in Glasgow if fit so he's lowering expectations as days tick past as started saying he'd do at least 18 miles a day after practice laps round Skene area Link to comment

Completely takes the spirit of it to fuck. 1 Link to comment

They should be offering him some sort of support. It seems like they've just left him to it. Not a peep from them. Link to comment
Howard Marks
Further to this, the fundraising/challenge Facebook page has completely gone off topic. Four posts mostly about those that have wronged him without a step in anger. Little to no comments in way of support. Save these posts for your private page. Go away, train properly, get your head straight and try again properly in a year or two. The public **might** be a bit more forgiving then. It's meant to be difficult otherwise everyone would do it. It's meant to hurt a bit. Would I do it? Probably one day. Maybe. But I'd need to take at least two months off work which I can't really afford to do at the moment. Link to comment

Genuinely worthwhile cause and not a huge organisation by any means so maybe just trust others to do the right thing as never had reason to doubt anyone before or have concern for someone fundraising for them Link to comment

The Buzzard
Fair to say he's half-arsed it and bitten off way more than he can chew. He'd have been much better keeping it 'local' and walking the WHW or even Aberdeen to Edinburgh. Vanity has got the better of him. Link to comment

Reverend Rave
He definitely has an in built talent for milking any situation to his financial advantage with minimal effort. I would hope that the charity will require full personal costings and receipts for every penny he spends on himself during this charade? I was paying him to exercise my dog for an hour daily. Some covert checking revealed that he was out and back within 20 minutes. Fired. 2 1 Link to comment
