I think it's a good idea. Mixes things up a bit. There's a big problem in terms of quality there. That's like Galaxy and Cadbury's being swapped for Hersheys and dog shit. 2 1 Link to comment
GeorgeStreetReds
Thought we did well not to concede after the humiliation in Athens, made to look even worse after their result last night. So many wasted final passes though, really need to sharpen up when attacking. Link to comment

FWIW - Topi was alright last night, but he’s had too many chances already for me Link to comment

TouzaniLeers
I do enjoy Karlsson. Plays with a lot of freedom and flair. Sometimes though, just get the fucking pass off mate. Ball was cleared after either a corner or cross and he had a chance to put Lobban down the right, he tried this audacious spinning flick to get it to him. I don’t mind that at certain points in the game but you are here to be productive my man. Get the pass off and get him in burrowing towards the by-line. Definitely guilty of too much show ponying at points. 4 Link to comment

If Jimmy is starting to see who plays where, and the players start to learn their position and the players around them better. We could start to click and be a team. As others have said it’s obvious we play better against teams who give us space. But we really miss someone to put half ( or even quarter) chances away. but goals breed goals,( as do clean sheets breed clean sheets),so a few wins and goals and anything could happen. Get Oday back. 1 Link to comment

Could do but I have a feeling our goal difference is going to do us in now unless we pump someone 6-0. Link to comment

Tbg, he probably recognises how poor most of the other players are and doesn't want to waste the ball 😆😜 1 Link to comment
aberdeen1970
If Karlsson is getting slated then there's no chance for any of our other players. If we get the best out of Karlsson then we might actually achieve something this season. 2 Link to comment

It’s nae the Jesper Karlsson show. Done plenty of dirty work last night but in advanced positions I often find his final ball/decision on how to play the ball, to be frustrating. I say all that knowing that he and Armstrong are the best players at the club. Link to comment
Gold Clydeside_Sheep Posted November 7 Gold Share Posted November 7 I thought we did OK, the players confidence would have been rattled after the beasting in Athens and another away game would have been daunting. But I thought we did OK, pleased with the point. Its more than the huns have got in their comp! I was pleased Polvara was included. We could have nicked it at the end with the milanovic chance. He should have hit it the way Armstrong did for his recent goal - into the ground, aiming for the far post. The speed the ball was coming in at, it was always likely to go wide if going for the nearer side of the goal. Having said that, Larnaca nearly scored after that, so hey ho. I watched it in the Park bar, before a gig - we had a good seat and could enjoy the sight of sellick leaking goals on one screen, while cheering us on via another screen. Link to comment
