GeorgeStreetReds
Played them twice this season and lost pretty pathetically in both games. Don't think they've looked particularly good in either game against us. We have to win this one and stop being so shite at home. Link to comment
GeorgeStreetReds
I don’t think anyone is expecting much out of Cyprus, but we have to win this. Jimmy has now had two full 90 minutes to suss out Motherwell in the past six weeks, we’ve lost both times. If he can’t get the upper hand this time, considering the difference in resources and having played them twice already I think that would be a damming indictment on him as a manager. Big game for him and us. 1 Link to comment

Disagree with that, thought they were excellent in the game up here. 1 Link to comment

RUL
We should have beaten them at fir park. Fancy us to win next weekend, assuming we avoid a catipulation before. 1 Link to comment

Not their fault it’s being played at a ridiculous venue. 5 Link to comment

That’s an excellent attendance by anyone’s standards. 3 Link to comment
milne_afc
Over 21k at the game. Any other ground with segregation would lock fans out. Link to comment

RUL
Bizarre attack, thought it was a good semi final, good atmosphere too. 1 Link to comment
englishred
Need to win this one. Motherwell play some good stuff but im not convinced they are as good as the look on the eye. The big question though is will we defend properly and create and take chances at the other end ? If we press right e can force them into mistakes. Link to comment
Schapenneuker
Motherwell are up there with us in that they love to give away a stupid goal by playing the ball out of defence. A high press on them is a must. Link to comment

We let them play.Stm were faster and more determined than us yesterday Also some good finishes. We just need to up our game from the last 2 otherwise 3 defeats in a row from Motherwell in about 6 weeks! Unthinkable! 1 Link to comment
aberdeen1970
St Mirren were strong and organised in and around their box. Happy to let Motherwell play in front of them and wide then hit them fast and hard when they managed to get possession, normally when Motherwell full backs were up the pitch and they just had their centre backs to deal with. Motherwell are a bit light up front and at centre back so it worked a treat. Not dissimilar to the way that teams like to deal with us, ironically. Link to comment

aberdeen1970
In As Jimmy would say, this will be a really open game. Whichever defence makes the least mistakes will probably win. 2-1 Lazetic, Karlsson Link to comment
Granite95
Hopefully see guys like Kjartansson get a run out as sure will be a tough game in Cyprus a few days before hand Wont be an easy game but do fancy us to get a victory going into an International break Link to comment
