London police have made their most dramatic move yet in football's war against corruption with the arrest of a 28-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud on Monday.

 

And the strong speculation was that the suspect taken into custody by the City of London Police, before being bailed until October, was a well-known Premier League star.

Well it's rife in Italian and Scottish football so not sure why the English game would be any different.

 

I'll bet Harry Redknapp is behind it, dodgy ***t.

Whilst reading the story on the Daily Mail website about Sone Aluko and Spurs, I see they're claiming the man arrested is Pascal Chimbonda.

Also interesting to see his agent is Willie McKay. Is that not the guy who engineered Thomson and Brown's departures from Hibs?
