minijc
That was a clinic that Groves put on tonight, judge that scored it 115-113 must've been sharing the gear with Naz who went off on one at the end, think he must've had his last scraps of cash on Eubanks. 1 Link to comment
daytripping
Eubank blew it by standing off Groves, looked almost scared of him early on, after that Groves just ran and held any time he came near, could have been a classic had Eubank went for it from the start, instead was a damp squib. Overall goes down as a crap fight, Eubank will come back from it, Groves will soon fade away, such a boring fighter. Link to comment

Agree with that. Naz was comedy gold, he was out of his tree. He walked on to those punches by Groves. Groves absolutely schooled him. 1 Link to comment

Zeus
Naz looked like he was going to have a heart attack pre fight. Missed the post fight rant, will hav a look for it Link to comment

Groves absolutely schooled him.Eubanks was shown up, early on in the fight he wasn't getting close to Groves because JR doesn't have a boxing brain, he then got desperate and swung wild the rest of the night, even when he did land he wasn't moving his feet correctly so even his bigger shots were having little to no effect on Groves, also there was no sustained pressure from him until the very last round and that's mainly because Groves had a fucked shoulder, single shots and wild swings will get you nowhere when you mix it at that level. Naz looked like he was going to have a heart attack pre fight. Missed the post fight rant, will hav a look for it 1 Link to comment

E-P-K
Watched it on a newly loaded firestick and surprisingly near perfect stream. Groves dominated the fight. Eubank Snr is such an attention seeker he tagged himself in the post fight tweet Link to comment
vanderark14
A few decent fights on tonight Brook v Rabchenko Wilder v Ortiz Josh Taylor v Campos I hope brook gets smashed and then khan gets the same, bored of them hyping up their supposed fight already. I’ll wtach Taylor instead. Wilder doesn’t seem to be taking his fight very serious, he seems more interested in Joshua. Ortiz is no mug Link to comment

Huge difference in quality. Brook fight was worse in terms of the gulf in class. Link to comment
minijc
Another step in the right direction for Taylor, that lad didn't fancy it much after he got tagged early on. Link to comment

maryhilldon
First time i've watched Taylor, seems quite quick and powerful but not a lot of accuracy. The other boy looked out of his depth. Link to comment
vanderark14
Wilder v Ortiz was a much more entertaining fight, good win for Wilder. Ortiz ran out of steam in the end, wilder used tha5. To his advantage and smashed him Link to comment
Don Fonte
Was a good fight but Wilder was lucky he wasn't facing a young Ortiz. A younger, good fighter finishes him off. However Wilder can punch stupidly hard and could knock anyone out. Link to comment
vanderark14
Was a good fight but Wilder was lucky he wasn't facing a young Luiz. Extremely close stoppage.Credit where it ps due, wilder took ortiz’s biggest shots, Ortiz didn’t capatilise on his meomentum. Wilder got himself together and smashed him. I disagree regarding the stoppage, that fight was over. Link to comment
Don Fonte
Aye didn't mean that to be quite so harsh on Wilder. Took some absolute bombs and came back. And the 'extremely close stoppage' was gibberish and not intended. Meant to say Wilder was close to being stopped. Ortiz getting stopped was spot on. Think Wilder v Joshua could go either way. Both can stop the other at any time and both defences not fantastic. Link to comment
Zeus
No way Ortiz is under 60. He looks fucking ancient. Link to comment

IMO wilder answered a lot of doubters last night. Link to comment
