Watched the first episode this morning.

Ace

Loved every moment of the series. What surprised me is the road it went down, it was so much more than a celebration of their fights. We got an insight into the fighters as people that i don't think we've ever seen before. Went in loving every single one of them, came out loving them more.

We are completely devouring Slow Horses, onto series 4 now.

The ending of Series 3 was excellent, the big shoot out - a good blend of action and comedy, like the huns game where durrant got injured.

The bit where Ho drove the party bus through the side of the house and Gary Oldman says "do you want to talk me through your thinking here?"  😁

Really enjoyed Slow Horses, Gary Oldman in particular was outstanding. Apple don't have the same volume of output as other streaming services, but pretty much everything they produce is of genuine quality.

Opted for the last two episodes of Bad Monkey over the Scotland game this evening and i've no regrets. Thoroughly enjoyable and genuinely funny from the first episode to the last. Vince Vaughn was superb. Hope there's a second season.

Four Kings on Prime is superb, especially if you're a Boxing fan. Benn, Bruno, Eubank & Lewis. Wonderful rivalries, wonderful fights and fantastic nostalgia.

Just watched all four episodes of this. Fucking excellent.

Eubank has become a joke figure in the last 20 years. Known for wearing jodpers, driving a truck and having a monacle and a cane.

He was a fucking beast in the ring. Fucking epic.

Started watching Tulsa King, but fell away from it - elderly stallone is not exactly convincing in the role, among other problems.

Also started Paris Has Fallen - no, the Germans aren't back again - and its alright.  The main attraction is the sexy female lead, though she does play a lesbian thanks to these diversity quotas.

I need to take up Liaison again, with the delectable Eva Green.

I finally got around to watching Eyes Wide Shut last night, now that it's on Netflix. Despite being an admirer of Kubrick, this one never compelled me to watch it, but I gave it a shot... Tbh I was neither up nor down about it. The pacing is typical of the director and the sinister undertones, as always, open to interpretation, but I just don't see why many cite it as one of his best.

Am I missing something?
