DelMonte
Now now, it's not quite like that. He's missed the last two games. He is still largely responsible for the position that club is in. Couple of points off top.I think he was dropped. I also think they've won the games since he's been dropped. Link to comment

V for Vendetta
Bearing in mind I think we would have been surprised at getting 100k for him, I just think we would have been pushing our luck putting a sell on clause in tooBut we did and they agreed. So it was the right thing to push for? Link to comment
Sonoftherock
I’m out with mine and rooneys mutual friend tomorrow. I’ll find out the story and what’s going on. He’s been in touch regularly since he left. @@dazzy_deff Meant to ask you at the time... it was claimed by another poster, that at the AGM, while mingling with the supporters after the event, McInnes was telling folk that 'As long as he was at Aberdeen, Rooney would have been there too.' However, he then allegedly stated that it was in fact Rooney who decided he wanted to leave 'for family reasons'... Would be interested to hear your take on that.... Link to comment

The Rooneys had every intention of retiring up here. They never wanted to leave. Adam was told he wouldn’t feature much but aberdeen were happy to keep him. He obviously would rather play so took the opportunity to go, with the added bonus of extra cash. He was quite angry that it was portrayed he wanted away. Even to this day I think he’d come back as they were very settled as a family up here. Link to comment
Mr John
Ward seems to have regressed. He's hardly played. Waste.Would still take Lewis over him. He can come here and sit on our bench if he wants. Wow, that made me sound like a total pervert. Good, it's what I aspire to. Link to comment

BWG
Can't be arsed finding it but he later gave an interview about how the fans would never accept him and how it was never going to work with him being an ex-ranjurs player. Nothing to do with the fact that he did nothing but eat takeaways and generally arse about during his spell here, it was clearly all because he once played for a now dead club. He's a fucking twat.
