Scotty_Toronto
Yeh, as soon as I saw Chris Sutton was doing the draw I knew Rangers would get a home tie. You know, because Sutton is well known for being part of the establishment up here... Who knew? (Just goes to show ya!) Link to comment
CalgaryDon
Not a bad draw. Tough place to go but I expect us to win. We are a top side. Link to comment

Panda
Wasn't Sutton drawing the unseeded teams?Yes, so it was him that handed Rangers one of the lowest ranked teams rather than a Premiership side. Are people really considering the possibility that Michael Stewart deliberately gave Rangers a home draw? That Stewart and/or Sutton were actually in cahoots to ensure Rangers get through? It's nuts. If it was fishing it'd be fine, but people actually believe this nonsense. 2 Link to comment

Donnet
It all ties in with the behaviour of the Scottish footballing authorities over the last few years. Remember how eager they were to cover up Rangers' insolvency and to fast track them back to the top. Remember they had written into TV deals that there would be 4 Old Firm games per season - going against all sporting integrity. To think that they wouldn't try anything they can to help Rangers is naive. 12 home draws in a row. When will you become suspicious? Just because you can't figure out how doesn't mean you should dismiss the possibility. Link to comment
S2RDS
I once went to the G Casino in Aberdeen and watched a old man put £100 on red 12 times in a row and black came out every time. He then changed it to black on the last go and red came out. He went utterly mental and kicked up shit demanding to speak to the management. The odds of that happening were low, but it did happen. Dont get me wrong, I can see why folk think its all a fix, given that the odds are astronomical, but IMO its really not. Its just something that has happened and as unlikely as it is, it can still happen and has happened. Link to comment

If it was fishing it'd be fine, but people actually believe this nonsense.Maybe they don't try to fix it every time. Maybe they allow it to go to chance sometimes & allow someone they know nobody would believe would fix the draw for them & when chance pays off for them & Sutton does draw them at home it's win win for them. They get yet another home draw (this time through chance) with the added benefit of the orcs (& people like you) being able to deny that any of the previous fixed draws were fixed. Quite clever really. Besides. They don't have to fix it every time. Just the times they know 'some of their own' have been 'randomly selected' for the draw.Especially when they were blowing wads down in the lower divisions & desperate for the income of all those hame draws. Is it the BBC you work for by any chance? Their workers don't have any history of assisting in cover ups of scandals at all lol Link to comment
