King Street Loon
The house and the land are a total mess, unkempt and run-down, doesn't look great next to our new complex.Once all the planting is done you won't see the house from the complex due to all the trees and no doubt fencing will be erected too.You can't force someone to sell up. We'd have to drag people through court for that process I'd imagine.Goes completely against the 'good neighbour' mantra the club are trying to promote. Link to comment

Panda
The clever thing for anyone with land out there is to wait until the stadium is built, and then if/when either the club wanted to expand, other developers wanted to build things that would benefit from being close to the stadium, or the council wanted somewhere to put their monorail station, then the price will sour. It's right on their doorstep and they won't get to the cinema on a Saturday afternoon because of it, emergency services won't get through to Westhill and people will DIE! People should stop greeting about the location. It's going ahead, dry your eyes. 2 1 Link to comment

muttonhumper
Aberdeen vice-chairman Cormack aiming for Kingsford stadium cash plan within 12 months https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/donsnews/we-have-work-to-do-to-get-the-50m/ I like this bit: Initially when the Kingsford plans were unveiled in 2016 the stadium was estimated at a cost of £40m.But by spending more on the ground Cormack, who has visited a number of recently-built stadiums with commercial director Rob Wicks for research, believes it can be more beneficial to the Dons in the long term.He said: “When you research other stadium builds you end up asking ‘if you spend £40m how much extra revenue can you generate?’“The answer might be a £1m, but what if you spend £50m? We think if we do spend that we can generate an extra £3m-£5m in turnover per year. Suggests we may not get a bigger version of a tinpot St. Johnstone or St. Mirren style ground as many have feared.Hope the cunts mean it. Link to comment

Harsh on CityCentre. He does a better job of keeping us up to date with the progress of the build than the club do. 1 Link to comment
