Oregon Red
There is no secret or miracle to Cosgoves re birth..playing 2 up front..like many if us on here advocated in the days Deke persisted with the slow isolated solo striker up front. 1 Link to comment
NEM
Yeah saw that too, it's the sort of stuff Berra has been doing for a few years in between pages of his newspaper, Berra was also made to look very ordinary today. McLean crying was pretty funny, I wondered what Joe Lewis was doing looking at his back at first. A complete turnaround from the match against them at TynecastleBerra was blowing out his arse. Must be hard work reading a paper on the pitch. He’s done 2 Link to comment
NEM
Easy to forget we've got a pretty young team at the moment, so I think they've had to get "street smart" quickly. Hearts definitely knocked out any rhythm or chance of it in the game at Tynecastle, but we have been doing that to most teams now, the niggle, tough tackles, hard running, chasing down the opposition, communication between players and everyone motivating each other......combined with confidence in teammates and the difference in performance from the start of the season, even a month ago is amazing. And I don't think we've played our best yet.Thought we were brilliant yesterday. Outplayed and out bullied the Hearts cloggers. Great to watch 1 Link to comment
Dynamo
Credit to Stevie May as well as Cosgrove. He's put in some good balls and having two up is creating space for attacking play. Link to comment

We didn’t really understand what was a stake and it wasn’t properly explained. We were promised that the we would have extra money to spend and that this would be a good deal. The only fair thing to do now would be for the transfer to be annulled and for us to be able to decide again, whether we really wanted to sell him to Aberdeen." https://www.thecumbrians.net/cufc-forum/main-forum/9085-ex-player-watch-18-19?start=50#191176 Link to comment

Yorston Vasey
9M bid from China incomingYou might be joking, but it's maybe something the EE or P&J could be helping us out with here. The Daily Record run cheerleading stories about hun and tim players all the time, how about the local papers run with a bit of hype on our guys. It's very easy to unvent an unnamed Chinese or UAE side who could be interested in one or two of our top performers, let's get their value increased a bit as it seems to work for the Glasgow teams. 2 Link to comment

But articles online turn up in web searches, wee Chinese agents Googling for players to sign from Scottish clubs will start finding stories about Cosgrove instead of Morelos and we just might get 1/5 of our new stadium paid for... shooftahmooftah
Cosgrove is keeping his hat trick for the Celtic game. I have a strange feeling this is going to come going to happen. Also had a dream last night that BROWN broke 2 legs and his jaw. The hawk that kills the pigeons attacked him. Thought he was a bald eagle with a bad attitude. 2 Link to comment

Shinniesta
You wonder if Cosgrove would have come good goal scoring wise far earlier had McInnes not persisted in playing him as a lone (and often very isolated) striker. He seems to be thriving now because he has a strike partner and we have seem to have remembered that it's ok to put consistent crosses into the box. Big Sam always linked the play well but you just never felt the goals would arrive. He was excellent for us in the post split games last season but no matter how good their general play is a striker will never be totally full of confidence unless they are consistently hitting the back of the net. You can see some of that in May at the moment in that his general play is very good but he's still not totally confident because he's not scoring. Link to comment
