The Cockney Don
Can this be taken to the proper thread now? None of it has fuck all to do with McKenna really? This is the original and pwopa Scott McKenna thread http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=41202&page=1 Link to comment

mcdougall(4)
Wolves in for him now apparently Wolverhampton Wanderers are the latest team to be credited with an interest in Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna. The 21-year-old centre half has been tipped for big things; his impressive performances at the heart of the Dons defence have certainly caught the attention of numerous clubs in England. G31DON
If McKenna can get Jorge Mendes as his agent, we'd better get a sell on clause. Could be worth a fortune. Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Wolves could quite easily splash the cash in January for McKenna, especially if they are still going well in the league. The added interest from the likes of Norwich, Swansea, Villa etc. is all going to help boost a wee bidding war in our favour.Wolves would be a great move for him & us. Hopefully a decent sell on claus as well. In other news. Mourinho is after a central defender to with rumoured links to/for Napoli's Koulibaly & also Fiorentina's £40m rated 21 year old Milenkovic. City considering a bid of £40m for Bournemouth's 23 year old defender Ake So looks like there could be a few high money defenders moving around in January & we might see Bournemouth added to the list of McKenna chasers. Which would be another decent club for him/us in terms of potential future sell on to bigger things. Link to comment
dj_bollocks
Hopefully a decent sell on claus as well. Only has to play on Christmas Eve ? Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Need to get as much as we can from him this month without injuring him. He's gone in January barring serious injury. Unfortunate but the money will be far too much for Milne Link to comment

Dynamo
i'd prefer he went in the summer, but he will go soon. He's going to be a star. Link to comment
Parklife
It'd be good to keep him until the end of the season. It really does feel like we're watching the beginning of someone who'll go on to be a top class player. Link to comment

Rostov-on-Don
Just keep rejecting bids in January at least until the last minute when some desperate club will bid something astronomical. Link to comment

PondHopper
The McKenna strategy is about the only one that is working out. I don't see Aberdeen contending, so they should do whatever maximizes his value in regards to when to sell. If the crazy money is there do it now. If not, wait til summer. Easy decision as what's going on on the pitch doesn't even need to factor in. Link to comment
RUL
LolHe's a great player contracted until 2023. Link to comment
TheRock
You can argue all day to what he's 'worth' but I don't think we'll actually get £15m for him simply because we're not realistically going to turn down £10m for him, are we? Link to comment
