It just shows what McKenna could potentially go for in 12-18 months if he does well. Good to get the % sell on clause based on Worrall alone. My flatmate is a Burnley fan, he agrees they would be better bypassing Worrall and paying a fraction of the price for McKenna. Link to comment

Hopefully becomes one of the many many players down there that are wildly overpaid for in a few years time. sheepcrooky
Twitter (I know, I know) with Alan Nixon who is normally pretty reliable saying that Forest and Burnley can’t agree on the Worral deal. Maybe that is the hold up. Ridiculous if true. Link to comment

Tommy
A relief that nothing dodgy discovered at medical. Good luck to him, hope we get a lot more money from the sell on clause. A new central defender is a must. Link to comment

G31DON
Good news really, after his form dipped badly last year. Now go and get a £25 million move in a year or two please. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Hopefully he learns and really improves down there and earns us more money in future. Link to comment
RUL
He's been really good this season, thankfully. He deserved the move. I hope he gets a further move and we get something else from it. Hopefully there's another one coming through the youth team soon. 1 1 Link to comment
sheepcrooky
Good luck to the lad. There was a spell last year when he was poor. But this season he has played well, deserves his move and made us a pot of cash along the way. Knock them dead Scotty. 1 2 Link to comment
Redmist1903
Good luck to the boy. Always gave 100% for us and will be missed, especially when for now it could be Taylor or Devlin that replaces him. He blotted his copy book a wee bit by handing in a transfer request to try and force a move before, probably just a young loon doing what his agent told him. No point having any resentment or bad feeling towards the guy, wish him well for the future. If he does well so will AFC. 2 2 Link to comment

sooth_stander
Aye good luck Scotty loon. Met the lad in corporate, at an AFC kids Christmas party and also in Tesco Westhill, and was never anything other than a jolly decent chap, so all the best, min. Link to comment
jamiesd
He was never coming back from the transfer request saga......all the best. Thanks for your service. 1 Link to comment
slippers
Firmly believe a few will get egg on face over this. Probably 1 of if not the best CB’s in Scotland. You look at Ajer and Goldson and they have a mistake in them. Only thing he needs to work on is his distribution and they will have a top player that will net us over 10m long term. 2 Link to comment
Macski
He's moved on so we do also. I wish him all the best and as others have said, if he does progress we probably stand to benefit from a windfall in sell on %. I'd like to see us spend a little of what's come in on a replacement with potential to sell on as well. As it stands Taylor should only be used in absolute emergency situations, the only faint hope is that maybe playing alongside Hoban could steady Devlin! Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Is £6m closer to £10m than £1m? I forget. or is this debate going to go on until all clauses are met &/or sell on complete? either way we could potentially receive 8 figures Link to comment

thurso
I say good luck to the loon. He is the best centre back scotland has ( which isn’t saying much admittedly) I hope the add ons to get the rest isn’t to do with appearances as I don’t think he will be there long before using it as a stepping stone for a bigger club Link to comment

I'm with Bad Mobby - fuck the disruptive, goofy prick (straight after he gets another big move) 1 Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
Great business for a youth player. More of this please. I know he put in a transfer request at one point but fair play to him for signing a contract when he did. Getting a combined £200k for the trio of Kenny McLean, Graeme Shinnie and Ryan Jack was a shambles. We need to start cashing in more often... but I suppose you need someone to actually pay for them. All the best to Scott McKenna. I'm not convinced he's better than Russell Anderson or Mark Reynolds but he is a big hoor of a man and that will stand him in good stead down south. Hopefully he does better than the other 2 mentioned. Link to comment
