thedandydon
Big Eck and God were in the twilight of their careers when I first started visiting Pittodrie but were still the most admired by a young dandydon. Hans Gilhaus, Eion Jess and to lesser extents Davie Dodds & Bobby Connor were other fan favourites. Link to comment

dazzy_deff
Scott Booth. He grew up 4 doors down from me and still lived at his mum's when he broke into the first team. When he moved out he'd be round every Sunday for his dinner and always came out for a kick about with me and arranged tours of pittodrie/tickets etc for me. Proper loved the man. Link to comment
Parklife
Eoin Jess. The same as, I assume, every Dons fan around my age. An absolutely brilliant player in a Dons team who, all too often, weren't up to much. Link to comment

graham
When I first came to Aberdeen,I loved Dougie Bell, especially European games, played like he was dribbling past folk in the playground, great player.Later Eoin Jess, two footed, two fantastic goals on ice at Firhill in the wooden brush snowed off match, showed what a talent Eoin was.Goals did not count in his career record as game Abandoned. Clydeside_Sheep
Willie Miller, who else? Ive never been fully confident in a dons defence since he hung up his boots! Amazing to think he had several 60-odd appearance seasons for us, yet the glamour boys playing today bleat at even 2/3 of that amount. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Jim Bett for me.From when he signed until he left he was a joy to watch. Link to comment
Tyzo_1903
As a primary school kid it would be Eoin Jess, only really managed to see him in his 2nd spell but would be a bright spark in what was a very shit team and era for us (1997 - 2000, depressing Aitken/ Alex Miller/Skovdahl teams). Best memory is him scoring against the Huns from an in direct free kick and diving into the crowd where we were sitting and going apeshit. Honourable mention to Zero ana. Link to comment
