manboobs109
Official SAGE figures reckon the effects of the lock down will directly kill 75000. It was always madness to stop treating people who are ill so that you have capacity to treat people who might get ill. This whole thing has been a fuck up of criminal proportions. 2 Link to comment

RUL
Big outbreak at Edinburgh Uni now. Public health meeting all morning discussing what the fuck to do. In the corner will be Edinburgh Uni main advisor who also ironically advises the SG, shaking her head about mass testing not being done. Link to comment

What's your point, symptoms or not they still have it. You would hope that if they were showing symptoms they would self isolate. If not showing symptoms then they could be spreading it as they happily go about their student life's. 2 Link to comment

I think the big point is if loads of people test positive but have little or no symptoms we shouldn’t be under such restrictions. Do you realise with the RT-PCR test there will never be no positive test results. 1 3 Link to comment
manboobs109
How many people have cancer but are asymptomatic? Imagine how many lives would be saved if we did blood tests, organ function tests, brain scans, prostate exams etc on everybody. There's no reason not to really. Every life saved and all that. 1 Link to comment

My wife's been preaching the importance of vitamin D to our kids for ages. I started taking it a few months ago after Dr Rhonda Patrick brought it up on the Joe Rogan podcast, everyone, regardless of their overall view of the situation should be taking a good vitamin stack alongside a good balanced diet (something I'm working on) along with exercising a bit more, also important to make sure your sleep is on point too.
