See this as another Queen of the South moment where we have thrown away a cup. Anyway, bring on the radical personnel overhaul!!

Lets be honest, we would have shat ourselves and Rangers would have raised their game and comfortably seen us off in 2008.

That's what I tell myself.

Also we'd have shat ourselves against Dundee United in 2014

Reminds me a bit of Yogi in his pomp.  Plays the idiot laddie card a bit and doesnt hesitate to throw in a few "here to make up the numbers", "massive disparity", "hopefully we might do something" type comments.  But you can tell his teams believe in what theyre doing, can achieve what theyre doing ie the system suits the players and, lets be honest, he has that vital bit of luck with him at the moment.

Like others wish him well particularly now the cheeks are out.  St J cup double would be a hell of an achievement.  Thank christ we've played them in the league already.

They won’t be giving a fk about their league games. Cup is 100% of their focus now for sure

Watching two clubs in the bottom half of the Scottish Premiership last night and thinking these two clubs play more entertaining football than Aberdeen.

How the mighty have fallen.

But then weirdly we sit very comfortably in 4th, it’s been the worst season in ages but we are still easily in the top 6.

Aye absolutely everyone has been shite this season. Apart from the new team. Very bizarre season.

If we had any of our sides from 13-14 through to 18-19 we could easy be at least 2nd with a couple double!

The winners of this season's Scottish Cup will bank a minimum of £3m from European football next term as they go straight into a Europa League play-off with the safety net of a place in the new Europa Conference League.

Why should the Scottish Cup winners get this..

Third place in the league should have this as a reward.

Scottish cup winners can still get a Europe place.

I agree.

You can fluke your way to a Cup & not have to play either set of the filth.

Four games?

Should go to the team who are better over 38 games.

However, either way, it’s not us.

They both had poor starts to the season. Exactly where we would be if we had a shit start..

To flip that the other way though.  We had a good start but the evidence of Oct-Dec indicated the manager had no idea how.  Or why.

100% agree DM had again assembled a squad over 2 years that was totally imbalanced with no leaders in it! For that IMO you should not be rewarded with. 6 figure pay off. Manager contracts need to be the next thing looked at by football authorities too many managers being rewarded for failure, but get bonuses for doing their job!! I wish us normal workers got the same at our work.

Thought the same, especially St.Mirren. Zipping it about quite well and some quality crossing too.

Its depressing to look at the semi line up and know one of thise teams will be adding a trophy to their cabinet. This was great chance to take a run at the Scottish Cup and we went out with a whimper. It should have been expected though, given we've not scored more than 1 goal in a match (in 90 minutes) for months and laboured through the first 2 rounds. Glass said all the right things before the tie yet we looked both mentally and physically weak throughout. Is it the manager not getting his point across or the players just not putting in the effort? We know most of them are capable but they've been playing with rocks tied to their boots. Hard to pin pinpoint what has caused the malaise in our form since the end of last year but Glass has to rid us of this hangover quick.

Think it's due to the lack of intensity in training and the general decline in form last year or so. Outiwth a 3 month period we've played rank rotten football for at least a year and a bit.

Think too many players have got far too comfortable with training and what-not. Doesn't help we keep re-signing utter dross

Unfortunately, countries cannot change that ... it is UEFA's decision.
