davieb
If it's a loan without an option to buy then they can fuck right off. He won't be able to play against Celtic and we are continuing to develop players for them. Link to comment
Crossbow
Scales only a good deal only if option to buy - otherwise if he is a success we have a defensive problem for one of the hardest games of our season. This has the smell of Ryan Christie all over it. Link to comment
Chester Don
Wow. We are overly concerned that he can’t play three or four games against Celtic, so the hell what. He strikes me as a good young player who will give his all for JG and us, and that’s all that matters as and when he can pull on the red jersey. Welcome aboard Liam. Not too many left agile left centre halves floating around to my knowledge 1 1 Link to comment
Sheepo
Another player we will develop for Tim’s first team or to flog on, poor show and not a good look 1 Link to comment
jamiesd
Not up for this loaning from the tims milarky. But welcome aboard.....enjoy your day off first game of the season. Link to comment
StandFree1982
If he helps us win a cup, then fair play. But he won't be able to play against them, which is frustrating. Link to comment
Baaaaa heid
Hopefully it is loan to buy if not , won’t be to overly concerned as long as he put in 100% effort for us won’t complain 1 Link to comment
CCB III
So, forgive me for being pessimistic, as I don't claim to know how good/bad these players are. On paper; A RB who's most recently played non league in England. A midfielder who was relegated from the Hungarian top flight. Celtics 5th choice centre half on loan (no option to buy.) I think we've all got caught up in the fact we're actually signing cunts, on paper, that is really, really grim. Hoping I'm wrong. Link to comment

I don’t think it’s a reaction to the ability of the lad. It’s purely down to us loaning him, potentially helping the Tims to sell him for a seven figure sum to the Championship next summer. JamieMT
Disappointed with this signing. A perm move i'd have been onboard with, but a loan? No thanks. Developing their player at the expense of our own and assuming he's a starting pick, it leaves a hole in our team every time we go up against Celtic. Link to comment
Rico1903
Can I offer a positive? We haven’t signed Dunne for £350k. 7 1 Link to comment

Agree and leaves a disjointed defence against the tims who we are likely to have to beat if we want to win anything - good for them short and long term - for us - panic buy Link to comment

Let's see what happens. I'd still be surprised if Goodwin walks away from his initial interest in Dunne Link to comment
The Gee Man
A loan only benefit’s Celtic. Ridiculous by the club Link to comment

I'd actually cut the club more slack when its a panic signing near the deadline. Signing a loan from Celtic in June is not very ambitious to say the least. 2 Link to comment
RedRichard
Leads me to conclude we are signing another centre back, which makes sense with the Wycombe guy speculation. Link to comment
Baaaaa heid
Goodwin wanted him when he was at shamrock and by the sounds tried to get him On loan for st mirren when he was a septic as well so he sees something in him just have to wait and see how he turns out for us 1 Link to comment

Aye but the Wycombe lad is right sided, Scales is left sided and will probably play most week - the weeks we are not playing Sellic. Link to comment
BonnieDon
With Scales confirmed and an offer on the table for Stewart, I wonder if Gallagher is set to leave. Link to comment
ThomohawkKid
He’s finally here and unless they later specific an option to buy - very underwhelming. Link to comment

If we sign Stewart as well I'd fancy we will try to offload Gallagher. And as i mentioned last night i wouldn't be shocked if we offer him to Robinson and see if they will do a swop. I know I am in the minority but I am fine with this signing. Sure, i would have preferred a permanent deal but if it means one of the sh#t Centre halves we had playing last season is not going to be in the team most weeks this season i will still take that as a positive and I think he will show himself to be better than they were. Eugenefani
Assume Celtic have the option to recall him at any point in the season? What a farce if so Link to comment

Doesn't change the fact that 'upload your images' doesn't indicate in itself that its fake. Must have deleted it really quickly. Not sure why as they announced the signing anyway. Link to comment
