Do you honestly think we can pay more than MOST CLUBS like was said?. bullshit, wee parochial backwater shitehole we have become. End of. To be fair to AFC, Hearts and Hibs - they have all done a decent job of trying to make the most of the opportunities available to them. But they are restricted by being in a tiny league in a tiny country. There are five times more people within a one hour drive of Manchester airport than in the whole of Scotland. Gary the twat Lineker gets paid more from Tv than the whole of Scottish Football from its TV revenues. Unless we form a British league, or some European hybrid league we are doomed to be in the bargain basement. This reorganisation of Premiership money being filtered down into the Championship and beyond in England is bad news for Scottish clubs. League Two will have significantly more money to spend than the Scottish premiership. Link to comment

Rico1903
Looks like their ability to get their top manager targets is about as good as it is their ability to attract top player targets. Appreciate there’s lots of variables and it’s not easy, but their track record is pretty dire. 1 Link to comment
dervish
Let's be honest are we confident here that next one is the right one? Burnt McInnes out who I don't think many could match (total prestige level person). Robson too actually. We deserved Warbs the shapeshifting wank. That's our level get used to it. Link to comment

Euro cash and Ferguson sell on likely in the next set of accounts as well plus very likely big money for Miovski, Duk and Barron. One cup final appearance and at least a semi final to come, another big influx of cash from that. So aye we should be in a very healthy financial position despite the shite on the pitch and could quite easily pay more than Plymouth for a manager. https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2223-financial-statements-submitted https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/1365192/aberdeen-fc-announce-2million-increase-turnover-annual-results/ 2 Link to comment

You could be refering to Plymouth or Aberdeen there 😅 Anyway, our turnover ranks fairly favourably against quite a few English Championship clubs. Also, Arnason joined Aberdeen from Plymouth, but it was nearly 15 years ago so pretty irrelevant 🧐 End of the day, say we could pay a new manager McInnes money, a decent wedge and not insignificant. Then why are we struggling to attain a manager worthy of our fine club? One that will unite the dons fans as said?, why is it taking so long to get this good manager in given our generous wage budget while we are sitting in and around the relegation zone?, let’s be honest why has our top targets rejected us already? just waiting for the laugh? Nah they’re in the championship, got promoted last year. We could probably compete with quite a few of the clubs in the championship - your Plymouth’s, Rotherhams etc 1 Link to comment
