Apart from the :fishing: trip this thread so obviously is......

The average tenure of permanent Hibs managers over the past 20 odd years is something like 14 months

Heckingarse didn't even make it to double figures. Bombed out after 9 months

For sure did well with Sheffield Utd in the Championship, but found out (albeit didn't get anywhere near the backing required) in the EPL.

He would get backing and time at the Dandies. The perfect combination.

He was fucking clueless at Hibs. And Leeds where he lasted less than 4 months.

For sure he did well at Sheffield Utd and was maybe unfortunate to get sacked...yes they were bottom of the EPL but that was what everyone outwith their own support expected..... but for me his time at Hibs just says it's best to avoid at all costs.

Could do better than a manager that crashed and burned after his settling in period at Hibs, winning 1 of his first 11 games in 19-20. If you want failure as a manger, he's got it at a high level.

Swear some folk think we can just go out and hire a deadbeat manager.

The local skippers will be devastated min, pleading poverty. Good to hear. 😄

"I canna even pye for my fuel with that".

"It breaks ma hert".

The greedy bastards and their ancestors fucked up the natural reproduction of fish in the North Sea by overfishing in 70s, 80s, and early 90s.

Karma.
