10yr anniversary of LC win

Recommended Posts

A decade ago today.

Only Hayes still around the periphery of the first team that was involved that day, albeit he lasted about 5 minutes.

We probably won’t ever see again as many dons fans at a major final. Was quite surreal walking about Glasgow city centre and seeing so many.

Getting a bit lost post match and ending up celebrating in some uber hun pub in Dalmarnock/Bridgeton area en route back to civilisation was good fun.

Should have done the cup double that season too. Mcginn missing a great chance at 1-0 was, in hindsight, the game changing moment. That and May bullying Ryan Jack for their goal(s)

Steven Maclean was the difference that day, a superb performance. Was like a man possessed.
