Looking forward to the inevitable meltdown from Kenny Miller and his cronies - “what does he know about Scottish football, blah, blah.” Outrageous that we have the nerve to appoint a Johnny Foreigner and we should stay in our lane, etc.

Kenny Minker is irrelevant these days, but yes he parrots the parochial lines about the 'natural order' of things.

Not just Kenny Miller, pretty much all on Sportsound.

Michael Stewart will have one of his contrived meltdowns/genuine breakdowns (choose as appropriate) regarding this. Jack Ross was that fuckwits suggestion. "knows the game" was a legitimate reason he gave 😆

Exactly, a ludicrous suggestion. While I acknowledge Stewart's "Aberdeen is a great club" compliments, like Kenny Minker and co. he perpetuates the parochial mentality of Scottish football, which sees the same old dinosaurs in charge, with the same outdated methods and thinking, which only entrenches the uncompetitive backwards that is our game.

From Board Statement:

“He has a reputation in Sweden as a team builder; someone who will methodically construct a winning side over time. From our point of view, we want this appointment to anchor the Club for years to come, and to work with Jimmy and his coaching staff to create something special at Aberdeen. That will take time, we understand that.

Have they finalised realised that the quick fire sacking are not the way?

Sacking is the way if it's an obvious failure such as Goodwin and Robson.

Delighted with this appointment. Important that he gets the time to build the side and I think he'll get afforded that by both the fans and the board as he has a clear identity of how he wants to play. Unlike the previous incumbents. Already looking forward to next season. Just a pity there's still 5 league games of this shitshow season to go.

Quick fire sackings certainly are the way when you continually employ incompetent buffoons.  Hopefully Thelin see's an end to that

What thick cunts like Miller forget is to criticise the Huns when they appoint Voldermort instead of people “who know the game”.

Kenny Miller is a peanut headed fuckwit.

All those west coast melts will be out for him from day 1.

Let’s save the smugness for later.

they have slated our last few appointments and said we’ll go downhill after McInnes and been absolutely correct. Which has been shite from our point of view. We have nothing to be smug about yet.

More like they've finally realised appointing a cheap youth coach isn't the way.

Sacking shite managers isn't the problem. Appointing them in the first place is.
