RUL
Hart is a great keeper but Casillas wouldn't have lasted at Real Madrid if he was shit...think it's crazy logic by James. Link to comment
boboisared
Brilliant. Couldn't you say the same about Hart when it comes to sticking him in the Wolves team?He was on loan to Birmingham too remember. Link to comment

Dynamo
Daft from James but unsurprising. Anyone who's seen Buffon regularly the past 12 months would agree he's back to his best and probably number 1 in the world (error v lecce aside ). Link to comment
Coopy100
This is David James who said on MOTD this season that the best keeper in the premiership is none other than Spains third choice keeper. File under patriotic nonsense statement. Link to comment

Foster14
Casillas isn't very good. Still think Real favour him to show that someone in their team is from the youth system and Spain to keep up the Real complement. There are much better out there. Link to comment

I was fortunate enough to witness him in top form against Racing Satander (when the Dons were in Madrid) and he pulled off one of the greatest saves i've ever seen. He was god knows how far off his line and the forward drilled a thunderbolt which looked like it was going to rip the net and i've no idea how Casillas managed to get a hand to it let alone tip it over the bar. Unbelievable save!!! Link to comment

Unbelievable save!!! I don't think he is world class. He is maybe one of the better ones going about just now, but there is a fair dearth of top class keepers just now. I have seen Casilas make many an error, more than you want from a keeper who often in a game will only face one or two shots. His concentration is lacking and his all round game just isn't good enough to be deemed a world class keeper. As for an unbelievable save in a game, I have seen many average keepers do it as well. deco_1985
David James is a fool. You don't win the European Championships, World Cup, Champions League titles, Spanish League titles, and Spanish Cups if you are not world class! I think Hart is a decent keeper, definitely best in the premier league, but not in the same league as Buffon, and for me the best in the world is Neuer. Link to comment

Coopy100
Is every player that plays for Spain and Barcelona world class? If not world class they are pretty bloody close to it! As for Hart. Agree that he loked shaky all game. I don't think he is a bad keeper but a bit like mulgrew for the tims he is hardly called upon defensively when playing for man city so his shakyness is exposed a bit more at the very top level. barassie_afc
Thing is Hart was probably under more pressure at times today than he would be in 2-3 games for City, and he looked "flappy", just like all those before him Link to comment
