NorthernLights24
They won 2-1 today against Vale of Leithen. A scrappy game but Culter deserved to edge it, although there was a period in the 2nd half when it looked as though Vale were going to nick it. Link to comment
Dandyjam
I ended up not going but my mate was there and was keeping me updated by text. Great to see them in 3rd round and hopefully they can get a First Division side preferably at home. Were you at the game NL24? Link to comment
moat pervert
Just back from the game (via the pub). Great stuff. Looking forward to a trip to Dens in Round 3. Enjoyable game which Culter definitely shaded. Link to comment

Milners
I thought that Northern Junior football was generally percieved to be inferior to HL? jesus another thread with the same info on it!!!! The likes of Culter can give most of highland league teams a right good game. As i said in the other thread another team Banks of Dee taken Keith into extra time last season (Keith won the league). They played Deveronvale this season and lost 5-3 away. Culter is better than Banks of Dee and i would think the game against Huntly will be close. Link to comment
chaos_defrost
Correct. It is pronounced Cooter although it's spelt Culter. Pronounced 'Coo-er' actually! Being from Culter, it would be absolutely fantastic if we could get past Huntly and draw a big club at home. Would be a big event for the village! Link to comment

If you drew a big team I could easily see the police forcing the game to be switched locations to be honest. Link to comment

baldrick_sheep
My mate plays for Vale of Leven, they played culter in the junior cup recently and he said they were decent, but not much better than themselves. They only got through after a replay and penalties. Vale are in the fourth tier of the West region so arent exactly that good. I am surprised to see Culter going this far and expect Huntly will dispatch them easily. Link to comment

As already been said, not that big a gap between top end of North Junior Premier League (which Culter have won the last 4 seasons) and Highland League sides with players regularly coming and going between the leagues!
