irnbru
Inverurie Loco Works FC have issued a press release this evening confirming the departure of the current management team The statement reads as follows: "Due to the recent poor performances and results, Inverurie Loco Works FC has taken the difficult decision to terminate the contracts of Team Manager Kevin Will, and Assistant Team Manager Doug Will, with immediate effect. The decision was made as the Club enters a critical stage of the season in their bid to sustain their league challenge. Coaches, Bruce Morrison and Ian Duguid will take interim charge. The decision was taken entirely on the grounds of football matters.and the Club wish to thank the Will Brothers for their endeavours during their time at Harlaw Park The position will soon be advertised in the press" As indicated on highlandleague.net Locos have slipped in the title race of late, taking only four points from their past four games. The defeat on Saturday at Huntly also comes on the back of the midweek MMT Aberdeenshire Shield defeat by Buckie Thistle. Last month the team put up a very creditable performance against East Fife in the Scottish Cup before going out 2-0 at Harlaw Park The sequence of results has included only five goals scored in six outings. E-P-K
They sacked there manager last season for just missing out on the league , And now they sack there current management for a few bad results. Someone is the Inverurie board must have eyes bigger than the belly if they think they can get made up to the Highland league a few years ago and run away with it. Link to comment

irnbru
Apparantly the players did not get on with the manager at all, so it was only a question of time. Link to comment
