Mr Chips
At least it wasnt this bad for us in Madrid http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7131542.stm Its because the Red Star fans attacked an undercover cop last week and set him on fire! Apparently all Bolton fans have been rounded up and aren't being allowed into the game. How can UEFA allow this and the stuff that went on last week to continue Link to comment

How can UEFA allow this and the stuff that went on last week to continueThey are being allowed to the game, it's just they're being held at some scuzzy hotel until near game time when they'll be taken directly to the stadium. Not a happy bunch, apparently the "hotel" has been compared to sandbach motorway services, and they were being charged Link to comment
NorthernLights24
Must be a real pain for the Bolton fans but they must have known that a trip to Belgrade for a game of football was never going to be that easy a trip. Link to comment

Guest redbrigade
Channel 5 claiming that Bolton fans are still detained in the hotel and it is the fans on the official club trip with TMG To be fair, the TMG charter package did say this would happen. All included in the price. Link to comment
fatshaft
Channel 5 claiming that Bolton fans are still detained in the hotel and it is the fans on the official club trip with TMGNah, some of them have Txtd from the ground to guys on the wanderer site. they are there. There's very few over and above the TMG charter anyway. Apparently there are 2000 armed police, and the Bolton fans are singing "I'd rather be a Croat than a Serb" Not the cleverest move, but then again how many serbs will understand it anyway? Guest LondonScottish
Those pictures don't look too far off what went off in Madrid if you think about it. The Madrid situation could have got out of hand too. At least the police knew how to deal with it in Spain. Link to comment

NorthernLights24
1-0 the Whites :kicking: Yet you could still go out if results don't go your way in the next round of games despite being unbeaten. Link to comment
fatshaft
Yet you could still go out if results don't go your way in the next round of games despite being unbeaten.Aye, 6 points could be out, whereas last year that was enough in every group. Very strange. The ties are working against Bolton too, Bayern and Aris on 5 points and play each other, and Braga are at home to Red Star and a two goal win sees them through as well. Link to comment
Dynamo
and the Bolton fans are singing "I'd rather be a Croat than a Serb" Disgrace that the Red Star are still in the competition (well till the next game) after what their fans did. If it was in Britain we'd probably see all teams banned from Europe. Uefa seem to have one rule for the continent, and one rule for Britain. Link to comment

A bit of a bummer if a team gets through with 4 points then. Link to comment

fatshaft
Are you Aberdonian who moved south and decided to support Bolton?Aye, I'm in the midst of football land living in rugby town of Warrington, moved here 4 years ago or so after 6 years in Isle of Man, not a lot to choose between Liverpool, Manchester, Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton distance wise as far as EPL teams alone go. Didn't "support" an English team, but popped along to the Reebok one day as it was easiest to get a ticket to that weekend, and it just sort of stuck. Okocha was just a genius. Link to comment
