Guest LondonScottish Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 McLeish has asked Manchester Utd for Darren Fletcher on loan until the end of the season; not surprising seeing the midfield shambles that is Birmingham at the moment, but is Fletcher the man to turn things around? I've always thought of him as a player who flatters to decieve, and requires good players around him to play to potential. Link to comment

Couldnt really care if its true or not but it would benefit other SPL team as I also dont rate Fletcher but sadly even after yesterday I do rate Hutton. Link to comment

Without being outstanding, he does a decent job at Man Utd; and Sir Alex seems to rate him. I'd rather make 20 appearances a season for Man Utd than 30 odd for Birmingham. Link to comment

How many appearances has Fletcher made this season in all competitions even with the likes of Scholes and Carrick being injured? Link to comment
