Forfar Athletic 3-1 Dumbarton

 

Basement side Forfar pulled themselves to within a point of Dumbarton with a well-deserved victory.

 

The home side enjoyed a dream start when Martyn Fotheringham headed them into the lead after only two minutes.

 

The Loons doubled their lead with a wonder strike from Elliot Smith but Dumbarton pulled one back immediately with a Chris Gentile header.

 

Paul Lunan sealed victory with a fine finish from a tight angle inside the penalty area in the 79th minute.
