Guest SS RED
I am not talking about attendances I am talking about fan base and number of supporters, stop ruining my fun and we would not be 5th. Link to comment
NorthernLights24
We'd be 5th. I saw some study online that had a list of the best supported clubs in the UK. We were 4th in Scotland, just behind Hearts but well ahead of Hibs who were 5th. If only I could find the link again. Link to comment
At The Border Guy
Think we'd be closer to Hibs than Hearts now if we were 4th. I am being a miserable *******d today, but I could never see us packing out Pittodrie like Hearts managed a few years back (before they started paying for their season tickets then not turning up). Hibs seem to have a regularly large crowd, and get quite a few sellouts as well. Guess we've got a fairly spread out support though. Link to comment
Nespa
Doesnt Hearts, Airdrie and Kilmarnock come under Rangers' fan base?? Link to comment
chaos_defrost
Doesn't matter how many people say they support a team, it's how many turn up for the games so Hibs and Hearts have a bigger support than Aberdeen. Link to comment
Dynamo
Doesn't matter how many people say they support a team, it's how many turn up for the games so Hibs and Hearts have a bigger support than Aberdeen. For the past 3 seasons.... Both crowds wil nose dive soon enough. Link to comment
Guest SS RED
Does that include away support chaos because if so I do beleive some brown smelly stuff just exited your mouth. Link to comment
Dynamo
You can't just judge the size of clubs on home attendances alone. Yes, obviously they'll play a part, along with away support, I'd say support outwith the city, history (trophies won) etc. so I'd say we're 3rd biggest no question. Link to comment
Guest SS RED
HistoryFans outwith AreaTotal support (even if they da frigging turn up)Travelling supportNumber of supporters clubs.etc. etc. etc. etc. 3rd biggest for most. Link to comment
