Sonoftherock
For anyone who is interested, I was just speaking to my boss there.... who is an avid Sunderland fan. Anyway, he tells me Russell made his comeback last night in Sunderland reserves victory over Newcastle. Apparently he was man of the match and is tipped for a first team comeback on Sunday against Portsmouth. Link to comment
robbojunior
good luck ando. hope he gets a good run and dominates their defence. that McShane is flucking garbage Link to comment
macca18
Good luck Ando but playing well for Sunderland reserves is a long way off playing well for Sunderlands full team! Link to comment
KennyS
I want to see him doing well, but McShane is great comedy, I'd be sad to see him punted. Link to comment
RedRichard
he's not in the squad today though http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal...rem/7185778.stm Link to comment

uni_don
Shocking defending for both goals (the first especially). I can't see Anderson making the same mistakes - he has too much experience for that. Gordon embarassed himself for the second goal, but had done well to keep the scoreline down up until then. Sir Rachid Belabed
i flippin hate roy keane. McShane and Nosworthy are the two worst defenders in the Premiership, and Evans doesn't look up to much either. Anderson wasn't even on the bench. Link to comment

Anderson wasn't even on the bench. seconded. guy is an arse of the highest order. one of the best midfielders ever but still a prick. i'd rather remind people of what he did to haaland and that challenge on Barry Nicholson at porkheed. i dont want to see a former don like anderson failing but i really want Keane to do badly in management Link to comment
OhhhhhJimmyJimmy
I liked Roy Keane as a player and want to like him as a manager but he went today and splashed two mill on that eejit Bardsley that was at Ib*ox. He is awful and Keane is no manager if he thinks he is worth that kind of money. Would be great to see Russell getting a run in the team. A Link to comment
