ZeroTolerance
What a second half performance. 6-0 going on 10 after a p**h first half. Link to comment

Sonoftherock
They got what they deserved this evening after the disgraceful sacking of Sam Allardyce earlier in the week. A joke club with delusions of grandeur..... Link to comment

robbo
no sympathy for newcastle. do think the result would probably have been the same anyway as its still the same players using the same tactics as Sam had in place for them so theyd have still got a roasting. Im probably not the only one who thinks Allardyce made a mess of his chance. He just needed to do what he did to Bolton which was sure up the defensive side and build from there...instead hes struggling week after week to get 4 defenders out there. Perhaps he shoudl have been given some more time but he really should have been enquiring about every defender in europe Link to comment
Tord31
Foreign defenders seem to need a couple of months to adjust to British football so it was really English and Scotish defenders he should have been signing. Cacapa is pish. But can easy see Rozenhal coming good yet. Link to comment
minijc
taken from nufc.com Amateurs Manchester United 6 Newcastle 0 The disintegration of this club continued with a trouncing at Old Trafford. Thoroughly unprofessional on and off the pitch and now a national laughing stock. Nothing more to be said except a hearty to thanks to all concerned. It would be nice to think this is a low point. We're not sure it is. For The Samaritans ring 08457 90 90 90. LOL they deserved that and i would thik it will give the board a boot up the arse and make them realise that rash decisions can cost the club. Link to comment

Original A1
Just seen the highlights. Hope our boys took particular note of the 3rd goal (Ronaldino's 2nd). Textbook stuff. Link to comment
Guest LondonScottish
How did Newcastle keep them down to only 6? Could have been well into double fugures. Link to comment
JC1903
Some superb goals from United, hugely impressive. The Geordie boys played well though (by their standards) in the first half and should've gone 1-0 up had it not been for the lino. Mind you they folded after the first goal went in Link to comment
RedRichard
it's a shame they are not buying berbatov - probably make them the finished article Link to comment

Perhaps he shoudl have been given some more time but he really should have been enquiring about every defender in europe From my reckoning, he brought in 5 new defenders in the summer, 6 if you include Geremi as a full back: Jose Enrique, Cacapa, Rozehnal, Faye and Beye. That's a whole new back 4 plus they've already got Taylor who is pretty good. It was almost entirely Sams team since he'd signed so many players. Link to comment
ZeroTolerance
I noticed in the Grauniad today that Bobby Robson had tried to convince Big Sam not to sign Geremi as Mourinho had told him that Geremi was past it and "runs like a 40 year old"/ Link to comment
