a1-don Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies has claimed that in-form goalkeeper Alan Combe is being left out of Scotland squads for non-football reasons. "With his ability, that boy should be in the Scotland squad," Jefferies said after Combe starred in a 1-0 defeat by Celtic. "I think it's a personal thing. "I don't think it's because of Alan Combe's ability." But, asked if he would like to expand, Jefferies said: "No, I wouldn't. They know what I am talking about."
