Holyjoe
There was a story about two years ago that Eto'o was going to join Saudi side Al Ittihad on a loan deal for stupid amounts of money - that was posted on the official Asian Football Confederation news site as a done deal, with quotes from him about how much he was looking forward to playing in the Asian Champions League. Turned out he was only in Saudi Arabia to promote some joint Football Academy venture between the player and the club. Link to comment
